Material per district

Familiarize yourself with material from different districts that has been transferred to Finna from the museum's collections. The districts are grouped per major regions. You can check the territorial borders of the major regions and districts in the City of Vantaa’s map service.

Only a part of Vantaa City Museum’s collections has been digitized and transferred to Finna. We are gradually supplementing the material. Vantaa is a large area, but the museum tries to account for the city's different parts and the different forms of being a Vantaa resident to an equal extent in its records. Nevertheless, some districts have donated less material than others. The museum’s home page has tips on how you can participate in storing our shared Vantaa cultural heritage.
